Qualifications and brief work history:
I am a Careers Adviser with an NVQ 4 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance and have been with 'nextstep’ since summer 2000 as a Network Co-ordinator and Adviser.
Prior to that (since 1990), I was an Employment Adviser with Norfolk Careers Service offering information and advice on learning and work to post 16 students.
1990 was a major life change for me after a full career in the Royal Air Force.
What I enjoy about my work:
Working with people and organisations across the county and the variety it provides. I get great satisfaction from ‘moving my clients on’ towards their goals.
I also enjoy networking with organisations countywide, co-ordinating and marketing events, promoting training and producing the ‘nextstep’ newsletter and marketing materials.
