NRF Norwich…Healthy Futures
The Norwich NRF project provides extra support for hard to help clients in the Mile Cross and Mancroft wards of the city. By providing free, on-going help
and support the project aims to improve clients’ confidence and assist in achieving goals, through
mentoring and guidance provision.
As with the Gt Yarmouth NRF project clients can be unemployed, a lone parent, from an ethnic
minority, have a disability or learning difficulty or lack qualifications. Clients have been helped to
build confidence and self esteem, overcome a variety of barriers, find out about courses and
training, create CV’s, gain new skills and generally move their lives forward
6000 copies of two ‘user friendly’ publications have been produced for use with clients and for
general distribution including an A4 magazine for job hunters ‘Making your future Work’ and a
small job hunting ‘passport’ called ‘Hints for job seekers’. A variety of self help and careers related
publications have also been purchased for the use of clients, which are housed in the Norwich
Forum Learning Shop, for use by NRF clients and Norwich based partner organisations.
